This is the brand new entry level mid ranger from the folks at Stretton Payne. The build quality is of high standard, and quality of the tone woods used is exceptional for the price. Like all of the Stretton Payne models it has been designed right here in the U.K. and carefully constructed in China to meet the strict requirements of the Stretton Payne brand. The tone woods selected for the D2 are solid Spruce for the top, mahogany for the back and sides. Spruce is a Bright, bouncy, full, projecting tone wood with unique characteristics; Mahogany is a full bodied rich tone wood bringing lovely full mids to your sound. This guitar is great for strumming and flat picking, propelling rich, full tone. This guitar is finished off with gold hardware, white bindings, and an elegant rosette.
