The G4 is another new entry into the Stretton Payne range this year boasting many of the same great features as the G3 but with solid Cedar used for the soundboard. The Stretton Payne G4 electro acoustic was the vision of the head of the British Design Team the ultimate mid range electro acoustic, utilizing the best tone woods, hardware and pick-up system. As already mentioned the G4 has a solid Cedar soundboard which produces rich, warm, full tones; slightly deeper more bass driven than Spruce, matched with the Mahogany back and sides the guitar oozes tonal perfection. The under saddle pick up system incorporates an on board pre-amp with controllable presence, bass, middle, treble, and volume, it even has a battery light to let you know when your battery is running low! The G4 comes equipped with gold hardware as standard; it also has a sculpted Venetian cut away allowing you full access to all the high frets, it has black binding with an etched double white pin stripe and a sound hole rosette to match. The G4 is the ultimate electro acoustic within its price range.
