| To begin when learning to play guitar you must first familiarize your self with the instrument. The guitar is constructed with a head, neck and body. The body maximizes the sound, the neck has frets to adjusts the pitch and the head holds the stings tight and alters the tune. | ||||||||

The neck of the guitar has up to 24 frets
and are counted starting at 1, the first fret after the head stock. Use
this to count which fret you need.
