Now you have played all the major chords you must learn how the same chord can be played at different positions on the guitar. The easiest and most common way to do this is to use bar chords. A bar chord keeps the same finger position but by moving the hand to a different fret position the chord is changed. |

You may have noticed in lesson 3 that the chords F and F# are similar but F is played on the first fret and F# on the second fret. Using this principle any chord can be played using the same finger shape. |

To improve your skill you must practice over and over. Playing along to your favourite songs is a good way to start. |
